DOWNTOWN. While you're exploring the treasures of the Rockwell Museum, keep up the Western theme with a stop at this on-site restaurant. Although not operated by the museum, Cantina promises a variety of Southwestern dishes that perfectly maintain the feel of the art institution. Sandwiches and salads are great for warding off the lunchtime munchies (along with a yummy corn chowder!), and beef-and-bean burritos, chili, and other standards make ideal dinner entrees. You'll also want to sample their cactus fries as an intriguing, slightly exotic snack!

CORNING. Casual dining sets the pace at this family-friendly restaurant, which owes its strong reputation to well-prepared seafood. Start off with bacon-wrapped scallops, parmesan-fried calamari, or even a dozen steamed littlenecks. Then, opt for fresh fish prepared in a number of different ways (grilled, fried, blackened), or consider grilled mako shark, crab-stuffed shrimp, or a crabcake dinner. Steaks, sandwiches, burgers, and pastas also satisfy hungry appetites. TVs are set around for entertainment, and folks find much to appreciate in live music, trivia competitions, and euchre events.

DOWNTOWN. First things first...the phrase "glory hole" refers to an opening in a furnace that allows glass to be reheated and its appearance refined. It's an apt name, considering that this pub pays tribute to Corning's lucrative, long-lived glass industry. The relaxed neighborhood place has a great selection of draft beers (international and regional), and it features live entertainment each week. You'll also find a tasty menu of bar food, perfect for reinvigorating you during a day of sightseeing or just fortifying you for a fun night ahead.
