DOWNTOWN.   Located across from the Coopers Alley L-Head, this attractive facility seeks to preserve and promote the unique art of Texas's Coastal Bend. Exhibits change periodically, but fascinating work is always on display, from loaned watercolors of regional interest to the works of local sculptors. In addition to studios and classrooms, the Art Center features a gift shop and ever-popular Jezebelles, a fine-dining restaurant highly regarded for its weekly lunches and Sunday brunches.   (© 10Best)
