Fabulous, Elegant Dining
For many years, the owner of the Yardarm left each winters to avoid the tourists! He finally changed his mind and now is subject to the occasional irate, road-weary traveller. The food is for the discriminating palate. Subtle touches like the Bombay dressing, the copper pennies for the salad, the authentic bread make the whole dining experience one to savor and remember. The gazpacho is tart, fresh and satisfying. I believe I have tried every dish in the menu and have found none lacking. I recommend the Yardarm for those who like good food, good atmosphere and friendly service. Just remember, when you cook food it takes longer than warming it in the microwave. Gaze at the beautiful harbor and enjoy a cocktail while you wait for the best meal outside your mom's kitchen.

Had dinner at Yardarm 10/13/2007. Food was good, presentation was below average for the prices. Sevice was way below average. Waitress took for ever to even bring water or take order, forgot request, others were served prior to us who had arrived after we arrived. Not attentive to even filling water glass. Service POOR!
