3. Katz 21

On Tuesday evening the 27th of October my husband hosted a group of 11 people to your restaurant. Our reservation was at 7:30. We were seated in a nice private room. I must say that the food was delicious but the service was horrible. We were not served our meal about 2 1/2 hours after we arrived. I don't know why that happened since the restaurant wasn't full. When I finally asked about the food our waitress was not friendly or polite when she informed me that it would soon be served. Before we left we had a very good friend, Ruben Bonilla, whom the waitress knew arrive. She was then friendly and begin smiling. My husband spent a lot of money at your restaurant and I feel that we should have gotten better service. We don't live in CC but we have many friends there and do visit it every couple of months. I doubt that we will ever host a dinner at your restaurant again. Considering the prices you charged we should have gotten much better service...

When my date and I arrived we were graciously greeted and welcomed at the door. Once seated our server was warm and knowledgeable, recommending a variety of specialty items unique to this fine establishment. We enjoyed our meals (the steak was amazing) with a bottle of wine (unique selection). The atmosphere was soothing and comfortable. The prices were fair for the quality of food and service we received. If you want to enjoy an evening with your date or significant other and not break your bankbook, this is the place to go.

Food is awesome and the dessert is even better! The Katz Meow appetizer is very scrumptious and the chocolate mousse is heavenly. One thing to note, don't go on one of nights where they are having a pick "1 of 3 meals" night like Valentine's Day. The menu was very limited and the food seemed to have been prepared earlier in the day and just warmed up. It did NOT give a representative sampler of their menu.
