7. Small Planet Delicatessen

Unfriendly, abrupt, overpriced...I called in a question regarding quantity of food needed for an event.... Though a long term client, I now plan to take my business elsewhere. Though products are overpriced and wait-staff generally unfriendly, I have continued to patronize the deli – no more. I will now take my business elsewhere. Hope is that one will take notice and recognize how valuable patrons are to an establishment.

Small Planet has really good food and it's pretty reasonably priced. Their food is healthy and tasty. The manager was on top of things and when my order was up, he personally came over to make sure that I got it and appologized for my wait, which had been less than five minutes. I didn't think it was much of a wait, and their gyros are yummy!

The embarrassment I felt when I went with a friend to utilize a gift card given by a student only to be told my card was "expired" or "used" as they looked down their nose. What an unfriendly place. I went home, and input the information from my card to www.giftlynk.com to get my balance and guess what? The card IS valid and so they WERE WRONG. I was mortified at the treatment the clerk offered. She was very unkind and irritated. As the line grew behind me I only felt smaller. I paid with cash and vowed to let everyone know that this is a snotty, snooty restaurant who have incompetent people operating their computers.
