The Buzz -- C.S. Lewis' classic fantasy tale gets a new presentation, thanks to Theatre Works USA, a national touring company. This musical stage version of the first chapter of the Chronicles of Narnia introduces us to Peter, Susan, Edmond, and Lucy, four children in England during World War II who are magically transported to the land of Narnia. There, they are drawn into a battle against the evil White Witch by joining Aslan, the good and faithful Lion King of Narnia who must sacrifice himself to save the children. The incredible production has won raves for its faithful adaptation to the book. |

Legends like Mae West, Bob Hope, and Cab Calloway graced the stage, and the theater was a favorite for movie-goers. In the 1970s, the Majestic closed its doors, eventually undergoing a major renovation that allowed the theater to reopen in 1983. One of Dallas's most distinct and charming performing arts venues. |
