Hotel Adolphus' French Room 10Best Photo by French Room. ©2009. All Rights Reserved.
DOWNTOWN.
Along with opulent decor, The French Room offers an aesthetically and gastronomically exceptional experience. The restaurant boasts baroque ambience – gilded ceilings, ornate columns, overhead murals, and crystal chandeliers. The menu, just as decadent, showcases entrees like white miso-marinated Icelandic halibut, seared quail breast, and New Zealand venison chops. The elegant restaurant is also renowned for sumptuous desserts like a roasted apple napoleon and flourless chocolate cake.

Experience the famous French Room, located in The Adolphus and consistently rated among the best restaurants in America. Created by Adolphus Busch in 1912 as the crown jewel of his namesake hotel, the dining room is reminiscent of the 18th-century European palaces and châteaus. Even if you can't afford a meal here, the muraled ceiling, marbled columns, and Italian crystal chandeliers are worth seeing. Open for dinner Tuesday-Saturday. (from Southern Living)

Unbelievable. Did not know they had restaurants of this caliber in Dallas. The French Room could easily be in New York, London or Paris. The food is the best, bar none. The service is awesome and the decor, well you'd think you were in the middle of Paris. It really is awesome.
