First time in Texas
The baby back ribs are so good that I want to take some home with me
to Virginia but they won't make it even to the airport. The fried apple pie with ice cream was a great way to finish the meal.

The best BBQ in Dallas. I've been there literally 100 times. The food and service have always been the same – excellent. The ribs are to die for, the salad bar is simple but good, side dishes complement the main entree, the price your wallet will love. There is nothing bad at this place, it's all good.

If you love good bbq in a fifties setting with oldies music, this is your kind of place! My wife and I have eaten at many bbq spots in Texas and Peggy Sue is one of the best. Our pick for a meal here includes the brisket quesadillas for starters. One of us will get the two meat combo with sausage and baby back ribs. The other will order the chopped brisket sandwich. Our favorite vegetables are squash casserole, red potato salad, fried okra or onion rings.(yes, you can get onion rings as a vegetable choice). I enjoy the special bbq sauce but on the side so as not to cover up the flavor of the delicious meats. An IBC root beer goes well with the food. For dessert, we split an apricot fried pie with black coffee. We've eaten at Peggy Sue BBQ countless times and have never had a bad meal. I can strongly recommend Peggy Sue BBQ!
