Paid $25.00 for cab ride to this place from hotel. Well was it worth it? NO! I was exspecting alot more from the hype.....I guess I answered my own question. Although the food was good, It was not much better that any other bbq joint. The hot rolls they brought around probably saved this meal outing.

Poor service; lacks the Texan hospitality. Portions are small; mediocre BBQ sauce. Definitely over-rated. Unofrtunately resting on the past laurels. The only thing worth eating was the onion rings. Skip this tourist trap!!!!!!

Food was delicious! The pulled pork melted in my mouth. The brisket was fork tender and the Jalapeño sausage has just the right bite! Gotta try the fried okra...

The wooden tables had lost most of their varnish leaving them quite susceptible to hiding bacteria I'm sure. They were so sticky that the paper towel napkins could not be picked up from the table without leaving a piece of the towel behind. The fabulous onion rings that you rave about were the most tasteless that I have ever had. The sauce was ok but a bit mild.

Great BBQ experience! I tried the tasting platter, "The Pitmaster," and found it to be an excellent sampler of the meat offerings. Definitely try the sausage, beef brisket, and ribs. The apple cobbler was excellent as well. The atmosphere is casual and fun. Service was prompt and friendly. The prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend a trip here.
