Awesome Dining Experience
One of the top meals in Dallas. For an appetizer we had the Crab Cake and the Steak Tartar. Both were fantastic and are highly recommended. Next we had the Old Warsaw Salad and Greek salad. Very light salad that is a must for Feta cheese lovers and for anyone interested in venturing outside the realm of lettuce. On special that night was a Foie Gra. Again, fabulous. Finally, for the main course we had quail with Sautéed Mushrooms and Muscat Wine. We shared the Scottish Salmon which was served with crawfish, mushrooms and capers, sitting atop rice and green beans. As Steve would say, the quail was "divine" and it was definitely my favorite dish of the night. Overall, Old Warsaw serves up food beyond your expectations, which is exactly what you expect from a top-notch Uptown Dallas restaurant. Will definitely return to share this place with friends and family and try more of the items on the menu.

You guys are nuts, this place is AWFUL
Read the reviews on other sites, these other ones haveto be fake. We went, the service was so bad we thought we were being punked, these old guys are mad, the place is really dirty, the food tasted stale, it was like eating at an old nursing home. even the dishes were chipped, bread was stale. we paid hundreds of dollars and still tipped them great b/c we don't want to be rude back, but we'll never be back. it was embarrassingly bad, and the guys that work there are like old dudes that are mad atthe world.

Wow. I learned about this place from a family member and glad I decided to check it out. Everything about this place is amazing. The decor, the employees, and of course the food. It definitely is one of the greatest restaurants in uptown Dallas. Tips: Excellent place for a romantic evening, business casual dress, adult atmosphere; This place is worth checking out so go ahead and enjoy this place.

The Best in Town!
Over the years i've experienced different types of fine dining restaurants and this one is one of my favorites! It has such a romantic athmosphere the food was appetizing and mouthwatering. The waiters were really devoted to what they were doing. The ballet parking was very courteous and it was an awesome experience for me. I'm totally looking forward in going back!

There's a reason this place has been around for so many years.
I've eaten in lots of great restaurants, and this one is right up there with the best. The room is inviting and not loud, the service is spot on, and Al even stops by to say "hello!" We started with a Crab Cake, and the Steak Diane was wonderful, maybe the best Steak dish I've ever had. And my Grouper and my wife's Snapper were both superb. There is a reason this place is only one of Best Restaurants in Dallas. And, there's a reason this place has been around for so many years.

Best Restaurant to have a special event
My husband and I choose this restaurant for every romantic occasion. We had our rehearsal dinner here prior to our wedding because of this. The service and personal attention we received was amazing. The staff served our 30 guests with ease, friendliness and good humor. We felt welcome, relaxed, and completely at ease. We had the Gallery room completely set up with all the center pieces they provided for us .There were a large range of ages at dinner, from 21 to 80-something, and everyone had a wonderful time. We will return many times for more delicious meals and the wonderful service The Old Warsaw provides.

The Best Over 10 Years.
We’ve eaten at Old Warsaw for over 10 years, the service is good, food fresh and it has always been a good experience. Their wine list is excellent and owner is great at advising the perfect pair with your dinner. The fish, steaks and lamb dishes have always been excellent, The appetizers are always excellent and desserts creative. The Best part of Old Warsaw is the live music which include a pianist and violinist – you must come here if you want to have an intimate dinner, important conversation or you’re celebrating a special event.

True French Continental cuisine
True French Continental cuisine, very authentic. The ambiance is that of a quiet Dijon restaurant, with excellent service. We had the Steak Tartar and the Crepe with Crab meat, plus we had to have the Steak Diane and the Wellington, finishing up with a great creme Brule and a Grand Marnier Soufle. The wines were excellent. A great meal, with a nice ambiance, and great service.

Five stars all the way
There are very few places in the city that can compete with this all time classic. Every detail is exquisite, the atmosphere is unmatched, and the food requires a serious approach. The menu is not too extensive and it's printed in a more fancy fashion. The dress code will ensure you are not surrounded by people in shorts and sandals The Steak Tartar was to die for, and the Lobster thermidor has still to meet its match. I also had a Caesar salad that still requires a pause and a memory re-taste. Starting the evening with an Old Warsaw Signature style Caviar is positively the way to go. Decoration, lighting, ambiance and proper table setting will highly guarantee an evening for the most successful endeavor.

Best Venue For Any Special Event
I'm 37 years old, and I have already eaten at almost all of Dallas and its surrounding areas restaurants. I have to say though that this restaurant is got to be one of the best. I have been here quite a few times, and every time I go, I get exceptional service. The food is amazing, and the steak you can cut it with a fork. The baked potato is HUGE and melts in your mouth. Their desserts are mouth watering, and the drinks, you get more than what you pay for. Yes, this place is so amazing , but well worth it. Do look to pay between $50-$60 per person. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely polite. Over all it is a great place to go out on a Saturday night or for a special occasion

Perfect
So the food was everything we expected -- delicious and definitely up to the Old Warsaw's reputation. What was surprising was just how good the service was. By good, I don't mean stiff and formal as is typically the case in the class of restaurants that old Warsaw is part of. Instead the staff -- while perfectly correct and professional -- were actually friendly and made you feel welcome (rather than making you self conscious and causing you to talk in whispers). The food is great and the staff a surprisingly friendly part of the experience.

Thank you old warsaw
Went to Old Warsaw to celebrate our engagement. They were notified beforehand of the special day and were really accomodating. The hostess welcomed us and congratulated us. They had our table waiting with a bottle of champagne already chilled. We did the pre-fix menu and really enjoyed all the food. The service was impecable. They really helped put a special touch on an exciting night. A really fine restaurant.

Famous for their seafood and steak selection, a restaurant that has a very romantic decor. I had the grilled salmon which was excellent. The clam chowder soup which overall flavor is perfect. The amazing thing with this restaurant is that everything really stands out in the flavors. The service was great but the food was better than anything I ever had. I would give this 5 stars as I am very critical and have high standards and The Old Warsaw met then all.

This restaurant deserves it's high rating. The wait staff was informative and pleasant. The specials for the evening included a grilled steak prepared in a pepper corn sauce With a lobster tail on the side . This dish was perfectly prepared and attractively served. The steak was cooked (not seared) yet moist retaining its delicate taste and texture. The dessert offerings were a perfect ending.

Tried Old Warsaw for the first time with my family. Older kids with picky appetites. Everyone loved what they ordered and raved about it afterward. From the professional, friendly staff (including the owner) to the Romantic, sophisticated ambiance, everything about this place was perfect. Next time you're in Dallas, I recommend you avoid the touristy, crowded restaurants in the area district and head uptown to The Old Warsaw where you'll be guaranteed a good meal and great service.

As my sister and I are gettting ready to leave for college and preperatory school, I find there is no better place to spend quality family time then at The Old Warsaw. The music, atmosphere, and the exquisite food all contribute to this unique dining experience. My family and I were crying within the first five minutes from our favorite song being played at our table " I"ll be seeing you." I couldn't think of a better place to spend our most cherished moments.

Brian and I had a lovely, romantic dinner on Saturday night for his birthday. Neither of had previously dined at The Old Warsaw and our evening in your restuarant exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is so elegant and the food superb- we haven't stopped talking about the Brie Soup or the Bananas Foster! The Careful attention of the servers and beautiful live music made our evening complete. We look forward to celebrating our next special occassion at The Old Warsaw.

Few places are perfect, but The Old Warsaw is perfect, always. The food, the gracious service, the atmosphere are perfect, always. The seafood, the steaks or anything entree on the menu, always perfect. The soufflé is a must. The Old Warsaw always brings the same response for our family, our friends and our business associates - perfect. We travel to Dallas to dine there at every opportunity. The Old Warsaw has been a part of our family traditions for years and will continue to do so for years to come, always.

We had been planning on a dinner at Old Warsaw for a long time. We dropped in on a whim. We were immediately seated. That is when the service was abismal. We were left on our own, no bread, no service. It took for ever to get the waiters attention. Once we did, there was no responce. I had to ask twice for everything. IFinally it took 20 minutes to get my desert and another 10 minutes to get my check. I wrote a note on the check and left a small tip. We will never return and don't recommend you go. By the way, the food was not that good either.

Old Warsaw is the BEST and CLASSIEST restaurant in Dallas, TX. The service and attention to detail harkens back to the bygone days of elegance and finesse. Any person who does not enjoy the Old Warsaw experience should confine themselves to the pandering of restaurants seeking the lowest client denominator - such as McDonalds.

If you come here for a great dinner and you have a problem with the food, look out, they would rather see you leave and not return. For shame on this type of services, after 52 years in business they should have this down.....
