OAK LAWN.   The smell of fried yucca and banana-wrapped tamales fill the air at Gloria's. The restaurant features a funky ambiance and serves up traditional Salvadorian and Mexican food – and Dallas is eating it up! Menu classics include black rice and cheese tortillas as well as frosty Margaritas and icy cold beer. Entree options include bisteck ranchero (beef steak served in a spicy tomato-based sauce), charbroiled shrimp and cheese-filled pupusas.
