Ever wonder why Japanese beef tastes so wonderful? Cattle in Japan consume sake and beer and are massaged daily with sake in order to have tender meat! "Kobe" means top-quality choice beef, and this Japanese steakhouse is dedicated to serving premium goods. The restaurant presents prime US beef prepared with the teppan grill – pick your entree and the staff will cook it right in front of you! There's also a great bar for drinks before or after dinner.

We were at this restaurant last evening for dinner. Although I was there about a year ago and was disappointed, I had decided to give them another chance. YThey have now had my last chance. The food was less than mediocre. As a matter of fact, it was awful! The fried rice was tasteless. The bean sprouts tasted like they had not been washed properly and were gritty!...they tasted like dirt and no other flavor or seasoning. My daughter’s filet, which she asked for medium rare, was almost raw. He had already turned the grill off when she tasted the first bite and so it was too late to correct it. Our chef had NO personality and NO entertainment skills. He missed every ‘trick’ he tried to do and never even greeted us when he came to the table. He did not say one word to us the entire time except to ask how we wanted our meat cooked. It was a complete disaster to say the least. We had brought some friends with us who had never eaten there and they said they would never go back either. If you want a truly incredible Japanese steakhouse then go to Kyoto in Rowlett, TX. It is more than worth the drive!!!

Food and show are always really good. We always have a great time here. Plan to arrive early or expect to wait awhile due to it being a very popular place to eat. Also the service is always good and the people are nice and attentive.
