KNOX-HENDERSON.   Sleek, trendy Trece (which means "thirteen" in Spanish) attracts a varied selection of patrons, ranging from tequila connoisseurs eager to explore the restaurant's 100+ choices to couples out for a romantic meal. Start with guacamole, an appetizer with lots of added flair thanks to tableside preparation. Coffee-glazed mesquite grilled steak is an enticing entree, as is a flavorful budin Azteca (tortilla pie with pulled chicken and chorizo). The only mexican restaurant in Dallas that is "upscale" in ambiance. The food is wonderfull of coarse, yet it is most refreshing to be in a mexican restaurant that feels upscale and appropriate for special occasions.
