LOVE FIELD.   Dependable Mexican and Southwestern dishes are the hallmark of this local institution, established more than 35 years ago. How has it thrived in the fickle Dallas restaurant scene for so long? Adherence to simple, delicious preparations and friendly customer service have a lot to do with it. Start with a flavorful plate of nachos, and then choose from a wealth of south-of-the-border favorites. Enchiladas, chicken mole, flautas, tacos, and chalupas can be had in an endless variety of combinations – dig in!   (© 10Best)

I'm native Texan, living in Washington state and I miss Ojada's. I ate there weekly for twenty years. Having sampled Mexican food all over Texas and some outside of the Lone Star state, I can state unequivacly that Ojeda's is the finest I have ever had and my friends agree. I can't get good Mexican food here and a week doesn't go by that a crave that combo plate. Please go there and eat for my sake!

I *LOVE* Ojeda's on Maple! I live in Oklahoma and would gladly drive the 2-1/2 hours just to have my favorite #12 plate! WOW!!! I have never once been disappointed either. I can just think about the chili rellenos and taste it! I'm not wild about their salsa (fire hot!) but a cup of queso is a good substitute. I have NEVER waited more than 10 minutes for my food to arrive even during the busy noon crowd. The food at the Desoto location is identical but I like the atmosphere on Maple Ave. I give Ojeda's FIVE BIG STARS!!!
