About 10Best's Dallas Restaurants Selections:
The Dallas restaurant scene offers a wide variety of cuisines. Make no mistake, though: sizzling steaks and tender beef brisket are what made the city famous. That said, Bob's Steak & Chop House and Al Biernat's are top steakhouses, and Sonny Bryan’s serves up legendary beef brisket. Honoring its spicier roots, Dallas also has its share of tasty Tex-Mex eats at places like Deep Ellum’s Monica's Aca Y Alla and Cadillac Bar in the West End, an old warehouse quarter that's been remade into a trendy restaurant, club and retail district. If a foray into global cuisine is in order, the chic McKinney Avenue and Knox-Henderson areas are home to many of the city's best restaurants, including the Japanese Teppo and eclectic Abacus. Downtown and Greenville Avenue feature outstanding dining choices as well. Antares, on the 50th floor of Downtown’s Reunion Tower, complements its own international menu with outstanding views of the city, and Greenville Avenue's Daddy Jack's Lobster & Chowder House prepares tantalizingly fresh fish and seafood. Other notable restaurants include the Mansion on Turtle Creek, Oak Lawn's Ciudad and smart, jazzy Perry's Uptown.

This place has the best tamales and the best fish tacos I have ever had, and I have been around a lot of fish tacos growing up in southern California. I hear they are from Houston, Texas, but the fish tacos taste better than those in Mexico and California. I hate to admit it but it's true...I think they are worth a mention.

Very often crowded, very often noisy, always superb. The best queso in town. Top notch sour cream chicken enchiladas, very spicy Blue Goose tamales, yummy tortilla soup, and mesquite grilled fajitas – topped off with home-made flour tortillas and killer salsa!

What's to like from this team is a reach that extends beyond red sauce and meatballs to a loftier style of Italian cuisine – and at affordable prices. No menu entree is over $14.95. And the staff exudes sweetness and enthusiasm. This is "Country Italian" cooking that your mama never told you about. Very warm settings, a neighborhood "at-home" feel for this community.

This place is awesome. Great Texas BBQ as well as Memphis pulled pork. 100% pecan-smoked meats and corn. Homemade veggies, BYOB, and a really cool laid back atmosphere. Very close to Flag Pole Hill at White Rock Lake. One of Dallas' great BBQ secrets. A must try for anyone.
