Dallas Zoo

SOUTHWEST DALLAS. A statuesque bronze giraffe measuring 67½ feet greets guests as they enter the Dallas Zoo. The engaging complex, home to a variety of wildlife, features exhibits like "Primate Place" and "Snout Route," which presents animals with distinctive noses, like tapirs and anteaters. In addition, the "Wilds of Africa" exhibit contains some 80 species of African animals. The facility in total houses approximately 8000 animals representing some 380 different species.
