10. Ozona Grill & Bar

I like the bar and restaraunt. Have been their many times. Thats what makes this so sad. On Monday (Dollar Marg night) we went with another couple. Ordered dollar margs with dinner. Enjoyed our meal and evening until the bill came. They charges us $5 for each drink insted of 1. So we had to pay for $40 instead of $ 8 (2 drinks each person). We politely told our waiter the problem and then out came the manager. He refused to do anything to fix their mistake. Even the server agreed what we had ordered. He was petty and small. A terrible employeee let alone manager. He would not rectify at all. I will let you know how it goes with his bosses. I hope to report back that it was fixed.

The atmosphere is very cool with the outside bar. The service is a lot better than it used to be and the food is fabulous. All in all the changes have made a big difference. Check it out!

I love the $1 margaritas on Mondays and their mexican food is awesome. It's the perfect oasis in Dallas. It provides a very laidback and casual atmosphere.

Patio is nice, staff is friendly although a bit slow, but the food is awful. I went for brunch and ordered the "Big Texas French Toast" which was two small, square pieces of bread, flat and soggy in the middle with chewy crusts. Potatoes on the side were tough on the outside, indicating that they were probably sitting in a warmer for quite a while. I had to ask for syrup and the fruit cup, which was included, because the waiter didn't bring it out. The fruit cup was as sorry as the rest of the meal. It was by far the worst brunch I've ever paid money for. I don't understand how this place got on this "10 best" list for breakfast/brunch.

Ozona has an extensive menu as well as a beautiful patio. We were also pleased with the fireplaces and the service.
