Modern-day down-home cooking may seem like an oxymoron until you actually experience a meal at Christopher's. Omelets, burgers and lasagna all have their place on the menu, as do a variety of vegetarian specialties, including vegetarian burgers, garden popovers, and eggplant Parmesan. Excellent desserts such as carrot cake and cheesecake provide the perfect ending to an enjoyable meal.

Christopher's Restaurant & Catering is a fantastic place to have a delicious meal regardless of the size of your party or the tastes of you and your friends. The variety of menu selections is top notch. Many of these dishes are homemade and they even have vegetarian dishes. I have taken several groups of friends, coworkers, and family to Christopher's and everyone finds something that they really enjoy. Breakfast is fantastic and has been written up in several local magazines and newspapers. If you like Bob Evans, Golden Nugget, or Cracker Barrel, you are certainly going to love Christopher's breakfasts. The value of this place is great and lunch is quick for when people are on the go. You can also order carry out if you are in a hurry. I very strongly recommend this place, and if you have any doubts check out their website at www.christophers.biz. I have eaten here at least 150 times and I go back about once a week, sometimes twice.

My sister lives in Oakwood, OH and I visit her about once a month. I ALWAYS stop in to Christopher's at least once while I am in town and sometimes two or three times. The breakfast here cannot be outdone. I keep finding new things that I just can't get my mind off of when I go back home. I highly recommend any meal at Christopher's, but breakfast is by far the best.

The first thing you notice about Christopher's is the huge menu. There is both the regular menu as well as the daily specials. The food includes "home-cooking," but there is plenty of room for innovation, whether or not you have special dietary needs. The vegetarian and lighter options are especially plentiful. A few stand-outs from my visits have been the tuna melt (one of the best in town), the spinach-feta omelet, and the vegetarian chili. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner have always been consistantly fine---especially considering the low prices. They do not take reservations and you seat yourself, so if you like an informal environment combined with great food, this is the place for you.
