Nothing more than a Banquet Hall for the private use of Board Members
The Museum of Arts and Sciences is nothing but a front for tax deductions of grossly overpriced art and worthless land by its board members.
It is actually little more than a banquet hall, a venue to hold ostentacious private parties for its Board, itself composed of people that have profited the most from Daytona Beach's corruption-driven decay.
It is, not surprisingly, funded by taxpayers yet the same residents that are forced to support this white elephant, are denied admission unless they pay an exhorbitant entrance fee.
There was an expose of this Museum about it holding stolen arts from Cuba, taken by Organized crime supporter, Fulgencio Batista. The investigative reporter and writer of the article was sumarily fired by the News Journal, whose CEO was a member of the Museum Board...

MOAS????
I have been to museums all over the US and this has got to be the worst for children! We paid $10 for each of us to take a toddler into the children's section based on the website's writeup. We could have had the same type of play at a pediatrician's office or indoor playset at McDonald's without the cost. Plus many of the exhibits weren't even working! What a waste of time and money.
