6. Royal Dynasty

One night my family and I went to Royal Dynasty for dinner and I ordered pork with Chinese vegetables. The pork didn't look like pork! It was crinkled, chewy and an odd color. Growing up in New York City, my parents experienced "other meats" in the Chinese food in China Town, so I politely told the waiter that I didn't like this dish and wanted to order another dish. The waiter had a fit, they wouldn't do it, so in order to eat I had to pay for another meal. This was last summer and we have never gone back since!
