DENTON. The lower level of this lovely home dates from the 1880s, when the Bayless family moved to Denton from Tennessee. Years later, Mr. Bayless added a second story to the farmhouse, creating the unique Queen Anne Victorian seen today. In 2001, the home was moved to the Historical Park of Denton County and converted into a museum. Today, it offers a glimpse of life in the "good old days." In addition to permanent and temporary exhibits, the museum hosts a number of lectures each year, often related to local history.
