5. Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant

very pleasing...
it's seems that only people with bad reviews come online to share their opinion and when i saw that people were basically trashing Giuseppe's, it upset me. The atmosphere was very romantic from the dim lights and flickering candles to the patio seating area with lights in the trees. it was very cozy. the house it an historical marker with beautiful hardwood floors and set up with little nooks of space for very intimate seating. The food was just as amazing as the atmosphere. Creamy sauce with tons of flavor, as opposed to those who had bland food. The sausage had a bit of a spice to it, but not too overwhelming. The noodles were cooked perfectly; al dente! Though I didn't purchase wine, they do have a list to select from. No one is forced to drink cola. I had their tea, which was very good. The staff was very warm and friendly too. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Not good
I have eaten here twice and the food was mediocre at best both times. On my second (and final) visit, a roach crawled up the wall beside my table. DONE.

Nice atmosphere, but very bland food. Only thing I really enjoyed was the bread.

Looked promising, very nice atmosphere, but everything was very bland. From the watery sauce for the Mozzarella Fritta (Mozzerella Sticks) to the Vitello Parmigiana (Veal Parmigiana) and soggy Melanzane Parmigiana (Eggplant Parmigiana). Truthfully the most outstanding flavor was the perfume aftertaste of the cola we had to drink.

Guiseppe's is the best restaurant in Denton for a date. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly. The service and food are great and the prices are reasonable. By looking at the place you might think there wouldn't be anyplace to park, but the parking is more than adequate. The back garden is charming. Much better than a chain restaurant and more charming than the Greenhouse.

Although the atmosphere is charming, I was disappointed in the food and the staff. The food was bland, and our waiter was extremely condescending. We'll never go there again!

Fantastic, authentic Italian food. If you are a huge-portions-of-tomato-sauce-laden-pasta fan, this ISN'T for you. If you want real Italian food, in a romantic setting, go for it. Warning: the chairs are NOT fat-friendly, so if you are a woman with curves, you'll have pinched hips all evening. This is only thing stopping me from giving Giuseppe's 5 stars.

One of my favoirte places to go to. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional! Food is wonderful!
