DENTON. Maintained by the Greater Denton Arts Council, this attractive venue is equipped to handle a wide range of performing arts events, from theater performances to full-scale symphonic concerts. The facility, which features terrific lighting and sound equipment, can seat 400 people and is available for rental by private groups.

DENTON. Located just off I-35, UNT's Murchison Performing Arts Center is home to Winspear Performance Hall and the Lyric Theater. The former, with more than 19,000-square-feet and a Wolff pipe organ, hosts the school's 40-plus musical ensembles, among them the One O'Clock Lab Band, Wind Symphony, Jazz Singers and UNT Symphony Orchestra. The Lyric Theater, home stage of the Department of Dance and Theater Arts, features an intimate, 400-seat setting. Contact the box office for ticket information.
