Chapultepac is world class sleezy jazz dive. The real deal in downtown denver.

Good Jazz but deplorable drinks. If I'm paying 5 or 6 bucks for a drink it better be straight alcohol not the watered down junk they were serving. Bring a flask and enjoy the music.

the "pec" is a denver jazz institution. if you're looking for fancy, don't go here. if you're looking for amazing jazz every night of the week and some decent mexican food, this is the place to be. el chapultepec has hosted many jazz greats. it is a little hole in the wall on the corner of market and, i think it's market and 14th. not a lot of room to move in here when it's packed, but if you can deal with that, you won't be sorry you checked out the pec.
