EAST DENVER.   This one-time LoDo venue has migrated east to Lowry, the quickly growing residential and commericial area on the outskirts of the city. A warm color scheme with wood accents makes the spot below the Tavern Lowry an intimate, cozy space in which to hear live music, be it blues, jazz, or even big band. First-rate acoustics and free parking are improvements on the old location. Available for private parties too.   (© 10Best)

Mindi Abair
We'd heard that the Soiled Dove venue was acoustically fabulous, so when we heard she was going to be there, we jumped on the tickets. We were not disappointed! The venue is sweet! I am recommending Soiled Dove to all my friends!

Warrem Hill concert
I attended a Warren Hill concert, a contemporary Jazz saxophonist. While the room was cozy & inviting, the music was extremely loud & caused a great degree of discomfort. I witnessed other people covering their ears which was an indication other folks were experiencing the same problem. I would suggest that management confer with artists that the music & bass could be turned down to fit the proportional size of the room. It would more enjoyable without feeling your being blasted out of your seat. thank you

My first exposure to The Soiled Dove (odd name) was to hear "The Jazz Theologian" (Robert Gelinas) along with House of Soul, a large band playing jazz, soul, and gospel. It was an excellent performance mixing wise and thought-provoking instruction with musical performance was a tight and talented band. The room was comfortable, warm, and clean. It was filled to capacity, but did not seen stuffed. My only complaint was that the rest rooms played recorded music even while the band was playing live. This created unneeded dissonance.
