LODO.   Martinis, great pizza, and a sassy waitstaff – sounds like the makings of a fantastic meal! In addition to tasty pizzas, the menu also boasts sandwiches, sides, and of course, desserts. An ideal spot for dinner or after-hours drinks.   (© 10Best)

We'd only heard good things about this place so we went there after a Rockies game last summer. There was one waitress working the whole restaurant so service was outrageously slow, when the pizzas came they were the worst pizzas we have ever had - burned and caked in the gritty stuff they use the stop them sticking to the pan. it was not a good experience, but still we only heard good things so we thought maybe we had been unlucky and gave it another go... Surely better, you'd think... no, worse actually. 2nd time we ordered one of those giant cookies, which tasted of garlic. Last time I checked garlic wasn't a normal ingredient for a cookie. I forget what else we had ordered - by the that time I had blocked out the rest of the food, but I do remember it was returned. Long story short, in my experience this place is beyond terrible. Probably the worst restaurant I have ever been in, and coming from London I've been in a few bad restaurants. Evidently others haven't had the same experience, either that or they are paying everyone off to get good reviews. After my experiences you'd have to pay me a lot to get me back there, but if you decide to give it a go on the basis of other reviews I sincerely hope you have a better time.

Wazee Supper club situated on the corner of 15th and Wazee is an excellent place for customers of all ages. The ambiance is classic neighborhood bar/restaurant with a little eclectic style. Classic Rock and Roll music playing, not too loud or to soft, just right. It has classic checkerboard flooring with comfy booths and ample seating. The “chandeliers” combine classic stained glass with spotlights as well as an interesting use of rope lighting throughout the dining area. It strikes one as a well established neighborhood hangout for young and old alike. They have an area on the second level that would accommodate a fairly large group with a terrace type atmosphere that overlooks the restaurant as well as a great view of the large street side windows. A great place to people watch. The wait staff has an obvious rapport with a number of regulars while still catering to those first timers. It has a long history in this location with traditional recipes passed down through the generations. The hostess this evening (a cold Wednesday night in the middle of winter) was kind and gracious and a genuine pleasure to talk to. My server was very attentive and made sure everything was up to par. The manager on duty (MOD in restaurant speak) made his rounds and made sure everything was in order and was sincerely concerned with the patrons experience. The bartender was quite simply a delight. The food, I had the pizza (this establishments signature item), was perhaps the best I have ever had. I had it Bianca style, olive oil, garlic mozzarella and herbs with chicken and bacon. The crust was superb, crispy bottom light and tender all the way through and the ample toppings were cooked perfectly. If I must find a criticism it would only be this, spread the toppings all the way to the edge fella’s there was more than enough to cover the whole pie. Even that as it is, is a very small criticism because the pizza was exceptional! If you are looking for a place to bring your friends to relax and have a good time, have a great beer (from PBR to Stella Artois on draft) and eat, arguably, the BEST PIZZA ON THE PLANET, then the Wazee Supper club is the place for you!
