DOWNTOWN.   Although its regular breakfast fare is delicious, Ellyngton's gets many accolades for its sumptuous Sunday brunch. The acclaim is well-deserved, as the champagne buffet ably indicates. A veteran waitstaff and live jazz work their magic, and the food has an allure all its own. Fresh fruit, shrimp, salmon, cheeses, and breads burden the buffet table while steaming dishes of light pancakes and perfectly prepared omelets top linen-covered tables.
