This small Lakewood trattoria is considered by many to be a hidden treasure, secreted away as it is in a nondescript strip mall. Inside, the cozy, family-style atmosphere beckons you to linger over savory pastas and enjoy a glass from the reasonable wine list. Start off with crusty mozzarella bread, and then order chicken breast topped with white wine cream sauce and a variety of cheeses. Seafood and even buffalo dishes also appear on the menu.

Love this restaurant!
I've been going to Cafe Jordano since moving to Lakewood in 2005. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere has that comfortable, family feel. Look at the pictures on the wall and they tell you the story.
If you arrive after 6pm, expect a wait. They are constantly busy (probably because the food is SO delicious).
I highly recommend Bob's Favorite - if you want chicken in a dreamy cheese sauce w/ asparagus on the side, get this dish! It is definitely worth the wait!
The desserts are also fabulous. 3 friends and I treated ourselves to a cannoli, cheesecake, and tiramisu. The cannoli was certainly the most memorable!

Over Rated
I went once to dine there the food was run of the mill. In small towns in the east this place would not last. The Waiter was a high school kid that knew nothing about what wine's they offered. It was extremely loud in the restaurant when I was there with small kid's running around. The food was okay but not great. I will try some other places before I try this restaurant again.

This place is amazing! Expect there to be a wait, but after that everything is so good. To the lady that said the wait was awful and then tried to brag about her coach purse... NO ONE CARES. To sum it up Cafe Jordano while it has a long wait, the food whoever is terrific. No wonder why they have a long wait.
