2. Cafe Jordano

Love this restaurant!
I've been going to Cafe Jordano since moving to Lakewood in 2005. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere has that comfortable, family feel. Look at the pictures on the wall and they tell you the story. If you arrive after 6pm, expect a wait. They are constantly busy (probably because the food is SO delicious). I highly recommend Bob's Favorite - if you want chicken in a dreamy cheese sauce w/ asparagus on the side, get this dish! It is definitely worth the wait! The desserts are also fabulous. 3 friends and I treated ourselves to a cannoli, cheesecake, and tiramisu. The cannoli was certainly the most memorable!

Over Rated
I went once to dine there the food was run of the mill. In small towns in the east this place would not last. The Waiter was a high school kid that knew nothing about what wine's they offered. It was extremely loud in the restaurant when I was there with small kid's running around. The food was okay but not great. I will try some other places before I try this restaurant again.

This place is amazing! Expect there to be a wait, but after that everything is so good. To the lady that said the wait was awful and then tried to brag about her coach purse... NO ONE CARES. To sum it up Cafe Jordano while it has a long wait, the food whoever is terrific. No wonder why they have a long wait.

Lots of great food for a very great price! Casual Italian family atmoshere, welcoming.

A taste all of its own..something to crave!

I thought the staff was rude. You would think that after you waited to be seated they would be somewhat nice. Not worth the wait!

I've never had any issues with this place. The wait can take a while because it's so busy, but I grew up with family-owned Italian places before and this place has very much the same feel. The food is always good there and asside from a potential wait to get seated, service is always prompt. The staff is, well, very Italian and although this may seem to come across as not-so-friendly, nothing could be further from the truth. They even offered to watch our toddler for us while my wife and I finished eating. If you want to eat at an authentic Italian-Style family owned resteraunt with good food and reasonable prices, Cafe Joridano is a great place.

Other than the not so friendly staff, the experience at Cafe Jordano is great. I love the Italian dressing on the salad. I think the entrees are tasty!

I've been coming to this restaurant before I even moved to Colorado! I lived in Arizona and would come with my mom on business, and every time we ate at this amazing place. It is the one restaurant I know that can serve a child's pickiness and an adult's love of...well, anything really, be it spicy, rich, or sweet. Now that I've moved here I come almost every week.

Wonderful food, experience, service. Waited too long for first visit. "I'll be back".

This was the WORST dining experience I have EVER had. We (my 5 year old daughter and I) waited a good amount of time and by the time the hostess called our name, she was starving. She yelled across the waiting area that she had a party coming in 40 minutes. In other words, can you hurry and eat in that amount of time? And she sat us. First our booth was dirty so I cleaned it up with the napkin myself. Then had to ask 2 different times for another napkin. The server came and didn't offer any help after I had told her that this was our first time there. I received a salad that hardly had any Italian dressing on and could have gotten a better one at Wendy's! Our food was brought very quickly (I soon figured out this was to get us to eat and get out!) I had a server after 2 bites of my meal ask if she could "box that up for us". Mind you... I had the fork still in my mouth! Once again, another server came over to ask us if we were "ok". YES except for the napkin shortage. She brought our check and while we were trying to get out of the booth, they were already trying to move it around to accommodate the other "party". I signed my cc slip while I was standing and told 2 of the servers that it was AWFUL and that we WOULD NOT BE BACK! They both brushed us off and were very concerned with getting the table cleaned for the NEXT party that was waiting. I'm glad they didn't have to clean their seats off! We eat out 2 to 3 times a week and I consider myself an extremely generous tipper and very pleasant to deal with. Your food, hospitality and service were ATROSISH!! I want you to know that I have already told several of my friends in my circle what a HORRIBLE experience this was. I'm assuming by my Coach hand bag, my Manolo Blahnik's, and my Valentino suit that you discriminate against the higher end customer and we are not as important as your general run of the mill clientele. NEVER again will I step foot in your restaurant. My friend who told me "what a great little place to dine in" was sadly mistaken! AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!
