21. Sports Authority

I had purchased a ski sharpener among other items this past winter. I never used the ski sharpener and returned it to the store in its original packaging. The cashier told me that I would be given a store credit $3 less than the price on the package. I asked to see the manager and a co-manager said that this is store policy. I asked for full credit and he refused to give it to me. Just to let you know, I spent almost $2,000 last year at your Avon store and because of this $3 credit, I will never shop in your store again. I have owned a number of companies in the service industry and I would not want to lose a customer like myself over a $3 item difference. I am going to send the sharpener to you so you can sell it to someone else.

It used to be that Gart's was the place to go for hunting equipment. Now everyone I know avoids it like the plague. One thing is for certain – if you want a box of shells two days before season you don't want to go to Gart's. That product won't be re-stocked until after the season is over[...].

Went to the hunting dept, asked to see air rifles. The woman working the counter pointed to them then walked off. No questions, no help, no costumer service whatsoever. No one else around, just left me alone in the gun dept. This place has [really gone downhill].
