If you like espresso, if you like a traditional (not an Americanized milk bonanza) cappuccino, check them out. Roasted on site, the coffee is fantastic. Award-winning baristas, too. Great space, friendly staff, comfortable ambiance - best coffee in town!

This place features not only absolutely THE BEST coffee in Des Moines/Iowa/the midwest, but also some of the best and most friendly baristas in the business. their little patio out back is a little-known secret. they sell their just-roasted beans on-line, and ship them just a couple hours after they've been roasted! definitely worth a visit.
