7. Waterfront Seafood Market

Waterfront is YUMMY! If you want seafood that is the place to go in Des Moines! Its kind of small inside...... but GOOD!

This is my problem-- negative feelings about a seafood restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa,USA (inland) that served me great tasting Lobster tail,and my guest had amazing spearfish fillet. I wish only that our server would have had informed us that the surf and turf (which had no faults) was going to be $48.80... thats one serving in a meal that cost us $89.00 .We didn't even order wine...apart from that, excellent, for Iowa.

We have been here hundreds of times to eat and/or to buy fish from the market. We have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad server.

I was amazed with Waterfront Seafood Market, never thought they would be this incredibly good food for a store front restaurant. Excellent fish market, too.
