2. Trattoria

Reminds me of an old Italian restaurant in NYC in the 1960's...downstairs in an old building and classic Italian fare. Prices are reasonable and the wine selection, while not extensive, is quite affordable. More suitable for adults with its calming Andrea Bocelli etc. music. For a family with children, try the more bustling Spaghetti Works on Court Ave.

This restaurant is really a find - tucked away in the basement of Court Avenue area of downtown. Homemade soup, fresh salad (with homemade dressing) and fresh baked bread are included with every tasty meal. My family has eaten here several times and we have yet to be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is so quaint -perfect for a romantic dinner, a family night out or a long dinner with friends. The Trattoria has it all - one of our favorites!

This small family owned Trattoria still sells their own fresh pasta! A seven course wine tasting! Service is great!
