Upscale Chinese food. Went with a group of 14 people and the staff was very friendly and accomdating. It's like PF Chang’s without the scene. The food comes in portions you want to share. We had vegetable spring rolls which tasted fresh but lacked spice and flavor. They can be skipped. The vegetable dumplings were green for veggie but were delicious. The crab rangoons are fried wontons with a little goat cheese. The spicy chicken egg rolls are VERY spicy. If you ask for them without the red sauce they are less spicy. The standard egg rolls are delicious. Potstickers are worth ordering. Then for entrees we had the basil chicken, comes in a coconut cream sauce but still tastes light. The ribeye spring roll wrap is like the spring rolls and lacked flavor. The Chef Kan’s chicken was one of the best entrees. We ordered it not so spicy and it still had some kick! The lo mein was standard lo mein that you can order anywhere. The Mongolian beef was a big hit! In short, everything we ordered was worth ordering again!
There is an extensive global beer selection (Germany, Lithuania, Argentina, Croatia, India, Holland, just to name a few).
Desserts: The chocolate cake was moist and rich, the caramel chocolate cake is really for the caramel enthusiast (there is A LOT of it), there was a light vanilla buttercream cake which was just sweet enough without being too overwhelming.

One of the best restaurants in the Des Moines area. The food is fantastic! The service is usually very prompt.
