The Buzz -- This is a powerboat-racing event on the Detroit River. Held in mid-summer, the tournament hosts antique boats as well as the racing boats. Qualifyfing heats are all day Friday and Saturday morning; races follow on Saturday afternoon and Sunday. General admission seating is available at Chrysler/Henderson Park and Memorial Annex Park, but you can see the races for free from the public beach on Belle Isle.
