The Buzz -- This event, which began in 1959, is a joint venture in which Detroit partners with the Canadian city of Windsor. The two countries celebrate America's Independence Day and honor Canada's Dominion Day. Together, the cities produce a great fireworks show – the best views are from the banks of the Detroit River in the Hart Plaza.
