FARMINGTON HILLS.   Located a few miles outside of Detroit, this eclectic restaurant wows patrons with its fabulous wine list and accomplished French-inflected cuisine. The interior is simultaneously dramatic, whimsical, and sophisticated and was recognized by the American Institute of Architects for its excellence. Prix fixe, degustation, and à la carte menus are available, and interested patrons are invited to watch the coordinated efforts of the culinary team within an open kitchen. Representative dishes include roasted lobster and monkfish, Rossini-style Kobe beef tenderloin, and grilled honey chamomile glazed duck breast.   (© 10Best)

This restaurant is very expensive but the food is wonderful and the experience is superb. This was a favorite of John Kennedy Jr. and many other celebrities.
