1. Air Mobility Command Museum

DOVER.   Located within the confines of Dover Air Force Base, this museum preserves the area's long association with the armed forces. Among the historic aircraft on display are an HH-43 helicopter, a C-54M used during the Berlin Airlift and a B-17 Flying Fortress. Other interesting exhibits include an F-106 flight simulator, a Boeing C-17 cockpit display, a Hall of Heroes and a unique collection of airplane nose art. After walking the grounds and taking in all the sights, stop by the gift shop for a few mementos of your visit.   (© 10Best)
