DOVER.   Located within the confines of Dover Air Force Base, this museum preserves the area's long association with the armed forces. Among the historic aircraft on display are an HH-43 helicopter, a C-54M used during the Berlin Airlift and a B-17 Flying Fortress. Other interesting exhibits include an F-106 flight simulator, a Boeing C-17 cockpit display, a Hall of Heroes and a unique collection of airplane nose art. After walking the grounds and taking in all the sights, stop by the gift shop for a few mementos of your visit.
