ALTSTADT.   This is traditional German cuisine at its best in the historic Altstadt of Dresden. To get to this restaurant, you must climb a series of stairs to the second floor, but it is well worth the climb. Once you reach the top, you'll have a great view of the bustling town square, which is especially beautiful when decorated for the annual Christmas Market.
