Al Mamzar Beach Park, actually a 100-plus hectare peninsula that extends into the Persian Gulf, offers a sheltered public beach, swimming pools, pleasant green spaces, and designated picnic areas. An ideal place to spend an afternoon with the family, the park also features a spacious amphitheater and children's playground area. On Wednesdays, Al Mamzar Beach is open to women and children only.

the park area is just huge, and really pretty. i personally love it.
but when it comes to the beach, there are some issues. it is amazing on weekdays and before 4 on weekends. but after 4, girls in swimsuits run for your lives!!! well ok, maybe that is an exageration. but, it is no fun when the construction workers decide to invade the beach and watch "nudies". they just stare!
but just to be fair, this is how it is at any public beach in the UAE.
so yeah, if u want to enjoy your beach then come early and leave early.

A fun-filled day for all the family. The park is so large that it never seems crowded and there is room for all kinds of games and activities. Everyone in the park seemed to be happy and relaxed.
