The Buzz -- Dubai is proud to host the 2009 Rugby Sevens World Cup, the fifth edition of this championship which is held every four years.
The 2009 World Cup marks a milestone for the International Rugby Board (IRB) and Rugby Sevens, as it is the first time the Cup will also have a championship for the women’s divisions.
The event features 16 women’s teams and 24 men’s teams from qualifiers in all six IRB regions.
