5. Lotus One

Sometimes, the carefully designed clubs fall into that "all style and no substance" trap. Not so, Lotus One. On the one hand is the decor – this is about as contemporary as it gets, with leather couches, hardwood floors, chairs suspended from the ceiling, mood enhancing light effects, and even a small stream visible through a glass "window" in the floor. On the other hand, they have surprisingly good pan-Asian food, an eclectic array of cocktails and awesome music. It manages to be comfortable and cutting-edge, all at once.
