Located in Bur Dubai, this immense shopping center is an upscale paradise marked by contemporary architecture and a cosmopolitan attitude that makes it a favorite with Dubai's most discriminating shoppers. Al Khaleej Centre features more than 100 retail shops, and large windows in the commons areas offer splendid panoramic views. Aside from its eclectic collection of boutique and specialty shops, one of the mall's more noteworthy sights is its captivating aquarium.

DEIRA. Located in the heart of Deira, Bani Yas Square is one of the city's shopping hotspots – a place where savvy shoppers can haggle their way into terrific bargains on local art, textile products, and even electronics. Deira Tower, the square's most domineering feature, boasts a mind-boggling selection of carpets and rugs.

DEIRA. Spread over both sides of the Creek, the Durai Souks are a "must see" attraction for those visiting Dubai for the first time. These colorful open-air markets are Dubai's lifeblood, and have been since its earliest days as a Bedouin settlement. Plan to spend a few hours strolling through the Souks, particularly the Gold Souk, where the various wooden stalls glitter with fine jewelry, much of it hand crafted. Next door, the Perfume Souk features a potpourri of traditional Arabic spices and European designer colognes and perfumes. The Electronic Souk offers terrific deals on the latest CD players, game systems, and the like.

Convenient to those staying in Jumeirah's luxury hotels, the inviting Holiday Centre offers a diverse collection of high-end boutique and specialty shops that carry everything from Persian art and Greek jewelry to antiques and furniture. Located at the base of the Crown Plaza Hotel, the mall's contemporary design and relaxing, almost intimate ambience make it easy to spend an entire afternoon here. Among the Centre's retailers are Bassa Trading, Nutcrackers, Talisman Gallery and Titan Book Store.

Benefiting from a design that allows guests to feel like they're strolling through an outdoor market, Jumeirah Centre offers a refreshing mix of modernity and nature thanks to its broad skylight, sun-bathed balcony, palm trees and tranquil waterfall. Among the shops you'll find here are Paris Gallery, DKNY, Nine West, Bateel International, and Gloria Jeans. The Centre also boasts a cosmopolitan-flavored food court where shoppers can find anything from American-style burgers to shish kebabs.
