7. National Museum of Ireland

The National Museum of Ireland focuses specifically on Irish heritage with archaeological finds dating back thousands of years. The museum is divided between two Dublin locations: Archaeology at Kildare Street, and Decorative Arts and History at Collins Barracks. Highlights of the former include its stunning collection of prehistoric gold ornaments, a reconstructed passage tomb from Prehistoric Ireland, and finds from early Viking settlements.
