4. Irish Museum of Modern Art

The Irish Museum of Modern Art houses an impressive collection of artwork by both Irish and international artists. Artists include Marina Abramovic, James Coleman, Willie Doherty, Gilbert and George, Iran do Espírito Santo, Kathy Prendergast, Bourgeois, Barry Flanagan and James McKenna, among others. The Musgrave Kinley Outside Art Collection has been on long-term loan to the IMMA. It will remain there until January 2010 and includes over 600 works by the likes of Aloise, Carlo, Henry Darger, Madge Gill and Hauser. The Madden Arnholz collection donated to the IMMA in 1988 comprises 1200 Old Master prints with pieces by Rembrandt, Goya and Hogarth.   (© 10Best)
