7. The Brazen Head20 Bridge St Lower, Dublin 2, IE

Originating in 1192, legend has it that Robin Hood drank several pints in the Brazen Head, arguably the most historic of Dublin's pubs. The wrought iron and brick outside hint at the aged atmosphere inside. A courtyard where beer kegs have been turned into tables leads inside where the atmosphere has been painstakingly maintained. A small, simple, low-ceilinged pub with mixed seating and a knowledgeable, friendly bartender. People frequently drop in just to see the oldest pub in town. Definitely worth the trip!
