6. Stag's Head

A little bit off the beaten path in both locale and spirit, the Stag's Head, built in 1770, has great local color and some of the best pub food in the city. Festive with twinkling Christmas-style lights year-round and a huge stag's head behind the bar. A smaller pub and less touristy than most others in Dublin, this pub is popular with the after-work crowd, which often arrives in the early afternoon.   (© 10Best)

I've been going there since I was 10, and my mam would buy me a toastie and a 7-Up. Now I go there and have a toastie and a Guinness!! It's by far the best pub I've ever come across, and I live in Denmark now, so that's an aspect of Dublin I really miss!!! Keep up the good work and don't change a thing (well maybe the toilets!).
