The top pick in Dublin for classic French cuisine, Les Frères Jacques has had a steady clientele for years and offers a welcomed sense of calm. An inviting dark green interior with fine china, tall candles, fresh flowers and attentive service. There's a pre-theatre menu at 6pm from Monday to Friday then dinner service starts at 7.30pm (7.15pm on Saturday). The set dinner is a popular option, featuring dishes such as French onion soup, seared scallops and prawns, daube of beef in red wine sauce and grilled black sole meuniere. Follow up with classic crepes flambees with ice cream or ginger and coconut creme brulee. Reservations recommended. Business dressy attire.   (© 10Best)

I have dined at Les Freres Jacques many times. The standard of fare is gastronomic with a wide choice of fare and excellent service. It is like a small part of Paris situated in Dublin. It is also extremely expensive yet good value for money. The only problem is one cannot afford to visit on a more regular basis.
