6. Enger Tower

DULUTH.   Dedicated in 1939 by Norway's then-Crown Prince Olav and his wife, this fairytale-esque rock tower is surrounded by exquisitely landscaped gardens and Duluth recreation. The five-story tower, named in honor of Bert Enger (a native Norwegian and local businessman), is open to the public and offers terrific views of Duluth and nearby Lake Superior.   (© 10Best)
